MaverickHunterHQ.com is a fan-site dedicated almost solely to the Mega Man X and Mega Man Zero video games, though other Mega Man series will also appear here as well, especially if they tie into the first two series mentioned. As the website name suggests, this site will typically refer to the characters' and video games' American names almost solely, though the Japanese names may be used from time to time in certain situations. This website is intended to be a tribute to these video games in both a fun and informative manner. In no way do we claim ownership of the characters, stories, or video games (see disclaimer at the bottom of every page); we simply wish to honor them and their creators in the best way we know how: by attempting to create a fun environment in which to share our fandom with others who feel the same way. That is the purpose of this site.

All information presented will adhere to canonized storylines or plots; i.e., strictly taken from the video games themselves or supporting information (such as officially released user's manuals that come with the games or other such materials) officially released by Capcom© to be part of the official timeline. Occasionally, however, even official materials may conflict with one another; in these cases, what is considered "canon" to one fan may not be so to another. In an attempt to remain as true to the storyline as possible, this website considers "canon" to be the first release of any video game in the series; i.e., Mega Man X is canon, but Maverick Hunter X is not as it is a remake of Mega Man X. Hopefully this should keep any confusion to a minimum.
